Rankscale is one of the cheapest trackers going, from about $20 a month on a credit model, across a wide range of AI engines. For broad tracking on a budget it is a strong option.
We cost about the same, and Rankscale advertises "17+ engines" against our three. That number deserves unpacking. It is their own count, the engines they actually name come to roughly ten, and the list has Google AI Overviews and AI Mode as separate entries when both are Gemini. Strip the surfaces back to the companies whose models write the answers and the real gap is smaller than it looks. We cover OpenAI, Google and Anthropic. They add Perplexity, Grok, DeepSeek and Mistral on top, which between them are a thin slice of how people actually ask. What you get here is the fixes: llms.txt, FAQ, citation targets, a plan, and a record of what your mentions did after you shipped them.
